Job Requirements

Android Development:

Strong understanding of the Android SDK (targeting recent versions).
Proficiency in Java/Kotlin.
Good understanding of OOP
Experience with Android Studio and Gradle.
Knowledge of Android architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP).
Experience with RESTful APIs and data serialization (JSON, XML).
Experience with Jetpack compose and version catalog
Familiarity with local data storage solutions (e.g., Room, SQLite).
Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Espresso).
Proficient use of Git version control.

Flutter Development:

Solid understanding of the Flutter framework and Dart programming language.
Experience building cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter.
Knowledge of Flutter widgets and state management solutions (e.g., Provider, BLoC).
Familiarity with Flutter plugins and platform channels.

General Mobile Development:

Understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices.
Experience with performance optimization techniques.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with other cross-platform frameworks (e.g., React Native, Xamarin).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Firebase).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile development.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Understanding of accessibility best practices.

Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience in Android and Flutter development.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Job Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test new features for our Android applications.
Maintain and improve existing Android codebases.
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers.
Collaborate with the web development team to remain in sync and add synergy to the team.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our development processes.
Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring high performance and stability.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Android and Flutter development.
Contribute to the overall architecture and design of our Android applications.
Create and maintain technical documentation describing the tech stacks used and relevant components.
Ensure there are monitoring mechanisms in place to monitor usage and add a proactive approach to the team for prioritizing customer satisfaction.
