Position: IT Administrator

Location: Kalopul, Kathmandu
Days: Monday to Friday
Time: 7 am to 4 PM
Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, such as connectivity problems, latency, and security breaches.
• Install, configure, and update network hardware and software, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Monitor network performance, bandwidth usage, and security protocols to prevent downtime and threats.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and data encryption.
• Manage IT inventory and maintain documentation of assets, ensuring proper tracking and lifecycle management.
• Assist in the procurement of hardware, software, and IT service contracts, ensuring cost-effective and efficient resource allocation.
• Provide network support to employees, assisting with VPN access, connectivity issues, and network permissions.
• Collaborate with ISPs and vendors for network equipment procurement, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Document network configurations, IP allocations, security policies, and API security best practices for efficient management.
• Research and recommend new networking and security technologies to enhance performance, scalability, and protection against cyber threats.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT administration, network management, or technical support.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
• Experience with networking (LAN, WAN, VPN), firewalls, and IT security measures.
• Familiarity with cloud services, email configurations, and remote desktop support.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
