About the Role

We are looking for a Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to oversee all financial activities of the company, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance. The CFO will play a key role in shaping the financial strategy and ensuring the company’s financial health and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the finance team.
• Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts.
• Overseeing, managing and facilitating the day-to-day financial operation of a company.
• Oversee cash flow, investments, and risk management.
• Developing and implementing the day-to-day financial operation control mechanism and reporting mechanism.
• Develop and implement accounting policy addressing the requirements.
• Develop and implement the internal control mechanism in the company.
• Develop and implement the mechanism for proper recording and safeguarding of assets of the company.
• Overseeing all budget and financial functions of the company.
• Monitoring and controlling budget variances.
• Develop, implement, supervise and monitor monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly financial reporting system.
• Lead the process of preparation of financial statements and audit. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and audits.
• Analyse, monitor and control the revenue and profit plans of the company.
• Design and implement the overall cost optimization strategies.
• Lead the process of tax and company related compliance.
• Analysing the investment plan, projects and opportunities; and recommending/ reporting the best course of action to the Founder.
• Reporting the financial operational and performance status of the company with recommendation for any action for improvement to the Founder on monthly basis.
• Other financial control functions as required.
• Advise on long-term business and financial planning.
• Support fundraising if needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as CFO or in a senior financial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, finance, and strategic planning.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• CPA/CA/MBA in Finance or related field preferred.
