Position Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) (ICAI/Nepal) with proven postqualification experience in finance, audit, and strategic business planning. The candidate will play a critical role in financial governance, compliance, decision support, and business analytics. This is a pivotal role that demands both technical proficiency and strategic insight, aligning with our next phase of accelerated growth.
Note: Only candidates with a completed CA qualification from ICAI (India or Nepal) will be
considered. (ACCA, CPA, or semiqualified candidates will not be shortlisted.)

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare, review, and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS/NFRS.
  • Ensure full statutory and regulatory compliance, including VAT, TDS, income tax, company law, and NRB regulations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and facilitate timely completion of audits.

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
  • Provide actionable insights to the leadership team through robust financial models, business metrics, and dashboards.
  • Partner with crossfunctional teams on cost optimisation, investment evaluations, and margin improvement initiatives.

Internal Controls & Risk Management

  • Design and implement internal financial controls and risk management frameworks.
  • Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure adherence to company policies and statutory norms.

Strategic Finance

  • Support the CFO and executive leadership in capital planning, fundraising, and investor relations.
  • Engage in business valuation, pricing strategies, and financial due diligence for partnerships or M&A opportunities.

Job Specification (Required Qualification & Skills):

Educational Qualification:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAI India or ICAN Nepal.
  • Additional certifications (e.g., MBA Finance) are a plus but not a substitute.

Experience:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAI India or ICAN Nepal.
  • Additional certifications (e.g., MBA Finance) are a plus but not a substitute.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong command of financial accounting, audit standards, tax regulations, and IFRS/NFRS.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally Prime) and advanced Excel.
  • Exposure to financial modeling, scenario analysis, and business KPIs.

Soft Skills:

  • High professional integrity, accountability, and analytical rigor.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in fastpaced, dynamic, and multicultural environments.
